Abstract Forms

Here I am exploring abstract forms – especially trying to look at the spaces created between the curving parts of the sculpture.  As you view it from different aspects, the space between changes its form – inviting a new idea.

The glaze is a highly reflective green-black with just a little lustre sheen that lets the shape speak for itself. Light is reflected on the surface – or even better ‘in’ the surface that seems to have depth and dimension.  Depending on the light of the day it will appear darker or greener. Abstract Form 1 - 64x35x21.jpg
