The story of Icarus captures the imagination – and also teaches us some rather down-to-earth lessons. I have always liked him, yet manage to repeatedly forget the learning.
This Icarus reached a height of 63cm, spreads his wings 39cm and is 24cm deep. It is made of glazed stoneware clay, high-fired and frost-hardy. The base includes holes for securing him to a plinth.
